Roundup lawsuits are being filed nationwide. They claim the maker of Roundup, Monsanto, failed to warn about the increase risk of cancer. The active ingredient found in the product, Glyphosate, has been linked to multiple cases of cancer.
Many of the product users have been diagnosed with different forms of cancer including non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, and others.
It is claimed that Monsanto has known for many years about the link between its product, Roundup, and cancer. The company however did not warn the public about these risks. Roundup was marketed to be safe and non-toxic.
Exposure of the product and its active ingredient Glyphosate can occur many different ways. Users can inhale the product as its being sprayed, by direct skin contact of the product, and even through ingestion.
